QVance AB, 559473-6497, (QVance) is the data controller for the processing of your personal data, unless otherwise stated. QVance takes measures to ensure that data is protected and that the processing is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection rules and our internal policies and procedures. This page describes how we collect, process and share the personal data we hold about you. Personal data means any information that can be used to identify an individual.

Why we process your personal data

We process personal data for several reasons, first and foremost to fulfil our missions. Our mission provides information about our company activities and services. The most common reasons why we process your personal data are that you are a customer, have contacted us for questions, an employee, a partner or similar. If you have been in contact with us, we may process your personal data in accordance with the fulfilment of contractual obligations. In addition to these purposes, we also process personal data to comply with laws and regulations.

How we may use your personal data and on what legal basis

We use your personal data to fulfil legal and contractual obligations, and to provide you with information, advice and other services. Information such as personal data or other information provided by the customer to QVance will be stored and processed in digital and paper format.

Your personal data may be disclosed to third parties in order for us to fulfil the agreement with you. Examples include contractual partners for laboratory services, contractual partners in logistics (carrier) and contractual partners for financial services, all in order to ensure the fulfilment of the agreement.

How long will your personal data remain with QVance?

We keep your personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. Personal data is required, among other things, to ensure quality and traceability for the services we provide especially in relation to the sale of services for quality analysis of drug products. As long as you are our customer, the archiving period is 30 years after conclusion of service provision[LD1] .

Keeping your personal data safe and secure is a key part of how we run our business. We have put in place appropriate technical, organisational and administrative security measures to protect the data we process.

If you wish to exercise your rights, have questions or comments regarding our data protection policy, you are welcome to contact QVance by email or letter, see below for contact details. QVance has appointed a Data Protection Officer who will contact you. If you are not satisfied with the way we handle your queries, you can lodge your complaint with the relevant supervisory authority, currently the Swedish Data Protection Authority.
